Glenys has been painting the buildings, lanes and homes of local Sussex villages since retiring and moving to Sussex from South London in 1994. Pencil sketches, charcoals, watercolors and oils. Glenys has also been commissioned to paint the signs for three local villages, including her own village of Ewhurst Green.
Private commissions for your own home or village are welcome and priced very reasonably.
Watercolors of Venice scenes are another favorite, from her travels in Italy.
EWHURST VILLAGE CALENDAR 2009
The 2009 EWHURST GREEN village calendar, with fourteen original paintings by Glenys of her village, Ewhurst Green in East Sussex has sold very well and Glenys was able to donate £2000 from the sale of the calendar to the general upkeep fund for the village church, St James the Great.
